Options and Resources Needed to Support Responsible Fatherhood - December 2007
This report was prepared in response to a request from the Iowa General Assembly.

The Fatherhood, Marriage and Family Supports Advisory Group Report
In the Fall of 2003, the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) formed The Fatherhood, Marriage and Family Supports Advisory Group. Iowans across the state were asked questions that government does not normally ask. DHS asked for Iowans' thoughts, opinions, attitudes, desires, and expectations for children and families in Iowa. They were asked about fathers and mothers, about marriage and living together and what supports families need to be strong.

Task Force on Responsible Fatherhood - January 2002
The Task Force identifies promising practices to support and engage both parents in supporting their children; identifies obstacles that impede or prevent fathers being involved with the children; raises public awareness of the consequences of fathers being absent from their children's lives; and makes recommendations for changes, both within and without state government, to support fathers being engaged in their children's lives.
